Being yourself might not be as easy as it sounds. Maybe you’ve been seeking to please others rather than cultivating your own uniqueness. When you put your energy and effort into taking care of the needs and desires of others, you can sometimes lose sight of who YOU really are. The Art of Being Me shows you that there’s nothing you need to prove, be or do to be worthy. You are enough.

Right now, you may be drawn to people who expect you to be more to them than you are to yourself, you can please and serve them and this feels comfortable and familiar. But the familiar is not always what is good for you.

Perhaps you’re striving for effortless perfection: you want to do it all, do it for everybody, perfectly, without letting anybody see you sweat.

We mistakenly see vulnerability as being weak. Being able to show up as vulnerable is incredibly difficult, but oh so powerful. When you’re being vulnerable, this is where you connect to other people, allowing them to be vulnerable back.

The Right Labels

Labels define us. We have taken on labels from our childhood on that have kept us stuck in a role that we could still be playing.

Now is time to step into your real self and quit the role.

No more Self-Sabotage

Self-sabotage comes from the discrepancy there is between what you’re actively going after and what your core beliefs allow you to attain. We’ll be working on changing YOUR core beliefs so that you can become you.

Living in Self-Love

Living in self-love means accepting who you are, without judging yourself. You’ll be extending unconditional love to yourself the way you have no doubt been giving it to others. Careful, this is a game changer!

STOP Negative Self-Talk

Negative self-talk often confuses DOING with BEING. We sometimes DO something silly, but this doesn’t mean that we ARE silly. We’re going to shift the focus from negative to positive and make it a habit.

Feeling Good Enough

The feeling of not being good enough causes many people to play small. This feeling is often the result of an experience in your childhood that you interpreted in the wrong way. You can now let go of it and start enjoying the amazing being that you REALLY are.

Vulnerability as a Strength

Often seen as weakness, nothing could be further from the truth. Allowing yourself to be vulnerable with people is actually proof of incredible strength because you’re opening up to being hurt. True relationships allow vulnerability to exist.

Here’s an example of what a month will look like: 

We’re starting the Art of Being Me on September 14th.

This will be our first group coaching session. In it we will uncover who you REALLY are, once you’ve got rid of the labels that your family, your teachers, society and even yourself have been giving you. How can this magnificent self show up in the world?

At the end of the coaching session, you’ll be invited to make an appointment with me so that, together, we can delve into your particular circumstances and create the changes that will enable YOU to step into who you REALLY are. Then we’ll have our second monthly group coaching session where we’ll be able to take stock, see the progress and perhaps make a few tweaks.
